Thinking of You

Exotic Beach by Stamp N Doodle

It's hump day and the challenge at Stamp N Doodle is Get Outside. The image I used for this card is called Exotic Beach.  The background paper is from my stash. I didn't do too much coloring but I did color the water and sand with Spectrum Noir markers.  I decided to use the sentiment "Thinking of You" it just seem so right for this image.

This image really make me wish I was on vacation right now.

Hop on over to Stamp N Doodle and join the challenge this week.

Happy Everything

I'm going to consider this card a mystery card. :-)  The reason I say that is because I have no idea where I got this image from, the pattern paper was in my stash with no name on the back, which leads me to believe it was in one of the many stacks that I bought over the years. What I do know for sure is I colored this image with my Spectrum Noir markers.

    Bling and Sparkle

This week at Stamp-N-Doodle our NEW CHALLENGE this week which is BLING AND SPARKLE creations, so let's use that as our motivation -  can't wait to see what you create!   You have until Monday, May 28  at 11:59pm EST to come play along.  You do not need to use a Stamp-N-Doodle image to play along, but we'd sure LOVE to see one!!
I kept my design CAS (Clean and Simple) I didn't want to add too much bling and sparkle to take away from the image. I chose to use some decorative white paper that had glitter on it already and my black cardstock has a little shimmer to it.  The image is chose is called Cocker Spaniel.

    Kim Kutie Roller Girl

Back in October Sassy Studio held a Create a Character contest. My suggestion was a Sassy Skater. The first set was released in February and my suggestion wasn't in that release so I didn't think my idea had been chosen. Well I was excited to get the email letting me know that Kim Kutie would be making her debut in the April release.   I colored her with Spectrum Noir markers and the paper is from my throwback stash and is making its debut too, LOL!  it has to be at least 7 years old.

This image made me think about a song that I use to love back in the day and was always played when we went skating. The song is by Vaughan Mason & Crew and it's called: Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll.

    Rollerskaters celebrate the disco way
    Give your feet the freedom
    Lets bounce today
    Rollerskaters one in front
    And one behind
    Bounce left bounce right
    Its disco time
    There ain't no stoppin'
Keep on rockin' to the end of the groove
    This funky kinda music simply
    Makes you wanna move
Rollerskaters one in front and one behind
    Bounce left
    Go on and
    [chorus]
    Bounce (mmm)
    Rock, skate, (ro-o-ol)
    Roll, bounce (gooo-oo-whoa-oo whoa)
Rock, skate (and do your skate)
    Roll, bounce (boooounce, oo)
    Rock skate, (ro-o-o-o-ol-o-o-o-ol)
    Roll, bounce, (yea-a-e-e-ah)(whoa)
    Rock, skate, (doin it)
    Roll, bounce

    Jogging

Good morning and happy Monday to you. Every Monday I say I'm going to start being consistant with my exercising. :-) I would like to exercise 7 days a week, that is my goal. I figure 3 days out of the week is better than none. I have to start somewhere.  In the name of exercising, today I'm sharing a card made using the April freebie (with purchase) from Mayzy Art.

I colored with Prismacolor and Copic markers. The base of my card is a textured pink cardstock.  I used black, pink and lavendar cardstock to make the circles. The sentiment is from Create with TLC.
