Brown Sugar Challenge # 9 - Sunday Best

TGIF!!!  This week our challenge at Brown Sugar is sponsored by Fine Arts by Robert Jackson. The theme is Sunday Best. To participate in this challenge you must  use an image from Robert's "Come Sunday" collection.

As I was sitting and creating I decided not to put too much on this card and keep it simple.  Besides it was getting late and I needed to get in the bed. LOL!

Girlfriend Relay Challenge

Golden Brooks (Maya) by Robert Jackson

I created this card for the Girlfriends Relay Challenge#1 at SOC. The challenge is 5 weeks and you have to create a project by the deadline to continue to the next round.  This challenge was to include a paper clip on your project.

I probably would have done so much more with this card, but I was running out of time. :-)
We were going out to dinner and I hadn't finished my card.  I wasn't sure if I would be back in time so I had to get it done. Then when I finished the card my darn internet connection was working. Soooo, I had to submit via my cell phone and that was a challenge.   That was so much fun, NOT!  LOL!

I created this card for the Girlfriends Relay Challenge#2.  This challenge was to include a border punch on your project.  I honestly didn't see that part of the challenge until it was over. LOL!   So in my defense, I didn't use a border punch, I used an embossing folder that looked like it was a border. :-) So I cut out the bow and used that. :-)  That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I'm entering the following challenge:

This Is My Promise

Sing A Song....  The challenge at SOC was to create a project and the sentiment had to be a song.  This challenge is a 5 part challenge and if you miss the first one, you miss the challenge.  I love these kinds of challenges, but get a little stressed sometimes because I run out of time trying to complete them. LOL!  So it truly is a challenge.

I chose the song "This Is My Promise" by The Temptations. I am getting married next month and this is one of the songs on my cd. The image Lil Bride by Robert Jackson.
